Armenian Volunteer Corps

Since its inception in 2000, AVC has assisted local Armenian organizations by bringing skilled diasporan volunteers to Armenia for one year, during which they promote a lively interchange of ideas and experiences.

The Foundation proudly stands as an early supporter of AVC, and continues to promote its programs to this day. Our early support included underwriting a three-month stay for 13 volunteers, including health insurance, lodging, and stipends; as well as short-term budgetary assistance for AVC staff salaries.

AVC has since grown to become Armenia’s premier volunteer organization. To date, it has facilitated job placements for some 600 global volunteers aged 21 and up, hailing from nearly 40 countries and covering a variety of fields.
