Earlier this year, our partners at One Armenia announced a fundraising campaign to build a new clinic in Aghavnatun village, NKR Kashatagh Region. The clinic will provide badly needed improvements to healthcare services in this community.

The project has since been realized, in collaboration with the Armenian Center Trust (ACT), London.
“At the outset, we’d considered renovating an existing building for this clinic” stated Executive Director Antranig Kasbarian. “But after evaluating all aspects, we decided it was best to construct a new building near the main road, not far from the village school.” Construction works were fully completed by the end of August.

The project’s second phase has begun in November, with periodic visits by doctors to examine the inhabitants of Aghavnatun and nearby villages.
