Fundraiser for Syrian-Armenians living in Karabagh

Due to the crisis in Syria, many Armenians have decided to leave war-torn areas and settle in Armenia and Karabagh. Among these are farmers from the Khamishli region, who have brought their large families to Karabagh and have already begun cultivating the land. While they are skilled in agriculture, these Syrian-Armenians face pressing housing issues, as more and more families arrive seeking refuge.

Please join us on Sunday, May 19 at the NJ home of Mr. Andreas Roubian, who has generously opened his house for a reception starting at 6pm. The reception will raise funds to provide needed housing for these Syrian-Armenians. Speakers for the evening will be Mr. Robert Avetisian, NKR representative to the US, and Dr. Antranig Kasbarian, Executive Director of the Tufenkian Foundation.
